MC33664 Transformer Interface
NXP Semiconductor MC33664 Transformer Interface is designed conveniently to interface a microcontroller to a high-speed isolated communication network. The MC33664 transformer interface operates at a supply voltage of 4.5V to 7V and dual SPI interface and input control. The MC33664 devices provide 2.0Mbps isolated network communication rate and compatible with 3.3V to 5V logic thresholds. Features include high-precision current measurement ( ±1500A) with low resolution, low sleep mode current, and ultra-low radiated emissions. Applications include automotive and industrial applications. Automotive applications are high-voltage battery management systems (>800V) and industrial applications are Energy Storage Systems (ESS), E-bikes, and E-scooters.
MC33664 Isolated Network Transceiver
NXP Semiconductors MC33664 Isolated Network Transceiver is a physical layer transformer driver designed to conveniently interface a microcontroller to a high speed isolated communication network. The MC33664 converts MCU SPI data bits to pulse bit information and transfers it to the bus network. Slave response messages use the same structure to send pulse bit information to the MC33664 which is then converted to an SPI bit stream sent back to the MCU. This device is powered by SMARTMOS® technology. The MC33664 is designed for automotive and industrial applications and is compliant with the MC33771 and MC33772 Li-ion Battery Cell Controllers and MPC5x MCU families.
