Texas Instruments TPS84410 Synchronous Buck Integrated Power Solution

Texas Instruments TPS84410 is an easy to use synchronous buck integrated power solution that combines a 4A DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs, an inductor, and passives into a low-profile BQFN package. This TI total power solution requires as few as three external components and eliminates the loop compensation and magnetics part selection process. The TPS84410 integrated power solution comes in a 9x11x2.8mm package that allows a compact point-of-load design with greater than 90% efficiency and excellent power dissipation with a thermal impedance of 12ºC/W junction to ambient. This TI device delivers the full 4A rated output current at 85C ambient temperature without airflow. The TPS84410 offers the flexibility and feature set of a discrete point of load design and is ideal for powering performance DSPs and FPGAs.
