P-3U-L Voice-DS1 SIDACtor Protection Thyristors

Littelfuse P-3U-L Balanced Voice-DS1 SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are designed to protect baseband equipment from overvoltage transients. The patented “Y” configuration ensures balanced overvoltage protection that prevents a longitudinal to differential conversion. The MS-013 components provide a single port surface mount solution that enables voice through DS-1 equipment to comply with various global regulatory standards. The P-3U-L parts can replace three discrete components. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The P-3U-L thyristors feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings. The components are RoHS compliant, lead-free, and meet UL/IEC 60950-1 creepage and clearance.

Utilizing a patented ion implant technology, effective protection is ensured within nanoseconds. The components offer an overvoltage protection solution that helps applications comply with Telcordia GR-1089 Issue 4, ITU-T recommendations K.20, K.21, K.44, and K.45, and TIA-968-A.

SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors
