P-4U-L Multiport SIDACtor Protection Thyristors

Littelfuse P-4U-L Multiport SIDACtor Protection Thyristors are designed to protect baseband equipment from overvoltage transients. Targeted for voice through DS-1 applications, the components provide a dual port surface mount solution that enables equipment to comply with various global regulatory standards. The P-4U-L parts can replace four discrete components. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The MS-013 packaged thyristors feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, low capacitance, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings. The components are lead-free and RoHS compliant.

The patented “Y” configuration ensures balanced overvoltage protection that prevents longitudinal to differential conversions. The A-U-6L and P-6UAL parts can replace six discrete components and offer two-port protection. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The MS-013 packaged thyristors feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, low capacitance, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings. The components are RoHS compliant, lead-free, and meet UL/IEC 60950-1 creepage and clearance.
